Your first 7-figure year
When I started my first business, I had one goal: to make 7 figures and be financially free.
I was determined because I knew what it was like to grow up with painful experiences around money.
I remember the feeling of watching my parents struggle with money and my dad filing for bankruptcy.
Of being on food stamps for part of my childhood.
Of feeling restricted to be able to get or do things because was always tight.
That experience ignited a fire in me to want to be financially free.
I hired mentors & worked really hard. I worked my way to my first 7 figures…with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. I’m so grateful for all the experiences money has allowed me to have. And even more grateful for what I’ve learned along the journey.
Although I was really proud of making that money, if I were to do it all over again, what I would have loved to have experienced was attracting money with maturity.
Here are the top 3 lessons I wish I knew growing my first business to 7 figures:
1. Money is a reflection of alignment and knowingness that you’ll succeed.
Making more money happens when you’re a radio signal match for people who are in alignment with who you are and the services you provide…those who are appreciative of you & what your business stands for.
It’s also about boldly being at a frequency that doesn’t match up with people who aren’t in alignment.
2. Money is energy. It is just an energetic representation of something we as a society have chosen to use as a representation of value.
But there is so much energetic baggage around money:
That if we didn’t have it yesterday, we won’t have enough today.
That having too much money is being greedy.
That people with money are bad people.
That even after a big month, “what if it was just a fluke? Can I keep it up?”
But here’s the truth: Nothing has meaning except for the meaning we give it.
When fear drives decisions, it limits our infinite potential & possibility.
If we’re driven by fear, even if we make more money, it can disappear more easily or we can seem to attract situations that require us to work hard for money.
Money is just an idea backed by confidence.
Confidence in yourself, confidence in things working for you, and confidence in your intuition trusting the right people and opportunities.
3. When we feel stuck at a plateau financially, it’s often because of hitting a wall either strategically, clarity-wise, lack of good systems that support growth, or energetics-wise (the quantum level of attraction & alignment).
Identify which one it is (it could also be the combination of all) & seek help with it.
