THE BEST Green Drink Recipe

When I was in Vegas a few years ago for a business training (not really my kind of place BTW…comment below if you also wonder what the hype is about Vegas), I went to Greens & Proteins cafe there and had the most delicious, refreshing green drink.  It is yummy.  Because I can’t get it where I live in Phoenix, I wrote down the ingredients on the menu and tried to make it at home.  Here’s a drink that will perk you up the healthy way—you’ll love it!

I can’t wait to get my wheatgrass tray started (…any tips for me?) so I can start making this frequently again.
The ingredients:

  • Green grapes -handful
  • Green apple –half or quarter of an apple
  • Pineapple-1/4C
  • Orange juice, freshly squeezed-1/4C
  • Lime juice (juice of 1/2 a lime)
  • Wheatgrass-handful
  • Kale-handful
  • Spinach-handful
  • Collard greens (I haven’t used this yet)
  • Ginger, fresh (1/4 inch, diced)
  • Flax seed- ½ tsp
  • Agave-to taste
  • ½ C ice

Blend in Nutri Bullet or Vitamix (I love the Nutri Bullet).  Adjust the amount of ingredients to your preferred taste.  For example, I notice I like less apple sometimes.  Add more of your favorite ingredient!

Serving size:  1-2.
