Are you taking that vacation you’ve been wanting to take before fall rolls around?

I’m getting ready to take my year-long Introverted Visionaries 6-Figures Plus Mastermind members to the white sandy beaches of Destin, FL in 2 weeks, where they are going to get business makeovers, the next steps of their 3 years to a multi-6 figure freedom business plan in place, and have fun in the sand.

My assistant decided to send me a few tips, which I’ll share with you.  While vacations are fun, they also have a tendency to interrupt all the healthy routines we have in place and can hijack our good intentions.

But it doesn’t have to.  You can have fun on your next trip and easily keep your healthy intentions.

Here are a few tips:

1. Plan your dining experiences. Heading to a new town can make it tricky to find meals out that fit your healthy lifestyle. More often than not, you end up just driving around the main part of town browsing signs, or watching for what’s advertised at the next exit on the highway.  You might miss out on some hidden good local restaurants that way!

Instead, do a quick search of the area ahead of time and have some good choices planned.

Are you a vegan or vegetarian?  As a vegetarian myself, I find it hard to eat so I’m satisfied when I’m traveling sometimes.  My husband makes fun of how I plan my trip around eating and Yelp.  Or, if you eat vegan/vegetarian go to and search for restaurants there.

2. Make Exercise Part of the Plan!  Sure, laying around on the beach is just fabulous, but you can get you and the whole family moving on your trip and explore where you’re at.  Depending on where you are headed, try hiking in a local National Park, some beach volleyball, or rent some bikes and explore the city.

3. Pack your snacks and save. Another vacation caveat is that they can be expensive. This time, save money and stay fit by packing your own healthy snacks–nuts, fruits, veggies. Check out fun, easy, and playful snack ideashere. And remember the water!  Enjoy your trip 🙂
